Virtual Testing
One of the most costly and time-consuming stages in product development is the product evaluation testing phase. Automotive manufacturers and component suppliers usually rely on engineering computation software to reduce the number of physical test repetitions.

For automakers, one of the most expensive tests is the periodic COP pedestrian tests, which must conduct annually on their products according to the related regulation (UN R127). Regarding to the regulation, in order to evaluate the vehicle’s performance in protecting pedestrians in an accidents, the vehicle must undergo a significant number of head and leg impacts.
