Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS)
ITOM Engineering is actively expanding its capabilities in the development and integration of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) for commercial and passenger vehicles.
At the core of our solutions lies ITOM’s proprietary radar technology—designed, engineered, and manufactured in-house—which serves as the foundation for reliable perception and decision-making across diverse driving environments.
By integrating ITOM’s radar systems with high-performance cameras, ultrasonic sensors, and control units from trusted partners, we deliver robust, modular ADAS platforms tailored to customer needs and regulatory frameworks.
ADAS portfolio includes a wide range of functions, such as:
- Lane Keeping Warning (LKW)
- Blind Spot Detection (BSD)
- Forward Collision Warning (FCW)
- Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB)
- Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA)
- Traffic Sign Recognition (TSR)
- Intelligent Speed Assistance (ISA)
- Driver Monitoring Systems (DMS)
- Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC)
- Pedestrian and Cyclist Detection
- Parking Assistance and Surround View Systems
Each system is developed through a rigorous engineering workflow:
- System Architecture & Integration: Platform-specific design, sensor layout, and ECU coordination
- Sensor Fusion & Calibration: Real-time fusion of radar, camera, and ultrasonic data; dynamic and static calibration for precision alignment
- Simulation & Validation: SIL (Software-in-the-Loop) and HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) testing for functional safety and performance benchmarking
- Track & Field Testing: Controlled test track scenarios and real-world driving validation across urban, highway, and mixed environments
- Regulatory Compliance: Alignment with UNECE regulations including R151, R152, R158, and R157, as well as ISA mandates under EU General Safety Regulation (GSR)
By owning the radar development process, ITOM ensures flexibility, reliability, and responsiveness to evolving market demands. Our vertically integrated approach allows us to deliver ADAS solutions that are not only technically robust but also commercially viable for OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, and fleet operators across global markets.
In all ADAS development activities, we emphasize functional safety and cybersecurity as foundational pillars of system reliability. Our engineering processes follow ISO 26262 standards to ensure safety-critical functions are properly assessed, validated, and monitored throughout the product lifecycle.
We also implement cybersecurity measures aligned with UNECE WP.29 and ISO/SAE 21434, protecting vehicle systems against unauthorized access, data breaches, and operational risks. From secure ECU architecture to over-the-air update protocols, ITOM ensures that both safety and security are embedded into every layer of our ADAS solutions.
