ITOM ENGINEERING is the official representative of Mo’cycle in Türkiye, bringing an innovative category of motorcycle protective equipment to the Turkish market: airbag-integrated protective denim designed specifically for lower-body protection.
Mo’cycle combines an integrated lower-body airbag system with abrasion-resistant motorcycle denim to help protect critical areas such as the hips, thighs and tailbone during a motorcycle accident. This technology complements conventional upper-body protection systems, including protective motorcycle jackets and airbag vests, and contributes to a more comprehensive head-to-toe protection strategy for riders.
A New Approach to Motorcycle Protection
Traditional motorcycle protective clothing primarily focuses on abrasion resistance and impact protectors. Mo’cycle extends this concept by integrating an inflatable protection system directly into motorcycle jeans and protective riding pants.
The protection system is designed to provide:
- Lower-body airbag protection for the hips, thighs and tailbone
- Abrasion-resistant protective denim for sliding incidents
- Integrated knee and hip protection, depending on the product configuration
- Mechanical activation without batteries, charging or electronic sensors
- Replaceable gas cartridge for system reactivation after deployment
- Everyday comfort and appearance combined with motorcycle-specific protection
By combining impact attenuation, abrasion resistance and wearable design, Mo’cycle products address areas of the body that are frequently exposed during motorcycle falls and collisions.
Protective Denim and Airbag Technology
Mo’cycle motorcycle jeans are manufactured using specialist abrasion-resistant denim developed for motorcycle use. Unlike ordinary fashion denim, this material is engineered to provide significantly improved resistance to abrasion, tearing and sliding on road surfaces.
The integrated lower-body airbag deploys when the rider becomes separated from the motorcycle. Once activated, the system inflates around key lower-body areas to help reduce the forces transmitted during impact.
This combination of protective denim, impact protectors and airbag technology creates a multi-layered safety system within a garment that retains the appearance and practicality of conventional jeans.
